My Work:

At IFSD I worked closely with Kevin Page and Mostafa Askari on writing a report on the need for serious tax reform in Canada. The report considered existing issues in the tax code as well as potential tectonic shifts such as increasing automation, an aging population, income inequality and the emergence of the digital and gig economies as impetus for a review. In addition, the report posed ways Canada could design a tax review using international precedent in the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand, as well as Canada’s own review in the 60’s.
